This morning's announcement
Good morning. You have no doubt heard this morning's announcement, and we've had a few people contact us already. We just wanted to send out a message to you all ...

When we were approached by SWSoft, we decided to look into the potential sale of Webhost Automation (and therefore Helm) in detail, particularly in terms of what this means for the product. As you know, we've built this company up from virtually a back room operation to a healthy company, but we've always been a small, privately held company, and while we've managed to develop and maintain a great product, small companies have their limitations. SWSoft brings great backing which will only strengthen the product and enable you all to have more choice. As sad as it is on a personal level to "hand over control", this is a great move for the company and for Helm. It's future is in very good hands.

We're both really grateful for your support and custom, and we're still heavily involved in the business, but now as consultants, so we'll still be in touch on a day to day basis. You'll understand that we can't talk about the details of the sale, and there is really not much more we can add right now.

Further information from SWSoft is available here: http://www.swsoft.com/en/helm/, and I am sure that there will be further announcements in the near future.

Thanks guys!

Mark Hall and Adam Saunders
Founders of WebHost Automation and Helm
