You can create PowerShell Scripts within Helm and run them at server level or schedule a task under Helm's Scheduler. Read up on PowerShell, its very very very powerful. I wrote a Helm4 Server Extention for Windows PowerShell as it replaces CommandPrompt in Windows 2008 - which we're releasing in the next day or two for Helm4.

You can create PowerShell Scripts within Helm and run them at server level or schedule a task under Helm's Scheduler.

Read up on PowerShell, its very very very powerful. Any good Windows Admin/Scriptor/Developer should have no problems using it.

Ive been testing 2k8 since b1 so quite farmilliar with powershell, but this will not help me with 2k3? no?

PowerShell support is a Server Extension and you can't have Provisioning Methods for Server Extensions because pervisioning has no concept of servers and servers have no concept of domains. Only Providers.

Pervisioning can be done by "resellers" so it would also mean they could create server accessing scripts... which would be a no no.

I can see why you would want to do it though, its an interesting idea.

It could be done by having a Provider for PowerShell in which no icon would be visable but would have a provision method, but you'd have no way of limiting it to admins.
